Datablocks

Datablocks are a way to pay an extra amount and become unshaped for the next 'x' amount of Gigabytes. For example: Your monthly download allowance is 5GB. You are half way through the billing period, and you have downloaded 5GB (so you have become shaped).

You however need to download something at full speed - the solution is to buy a Datablock. You can purchase Datablocks in 1GB, 2GB, 5GB and 10GB. The Datablock expires at the end of the billing period (if you don't use it), but effectively means that if you had 5GB of usage, and then purchased a 1GB Datablock, you would become unshaped for all downloads between 5GB and 6GB. If you again exceeded 6GB in the same billing period, you would become shaped again (and obviously have the option to purchase another Datablock).

Datablocks are able to be purchased by shaped users only, via the Account Toolbox 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

1. Simply login to the Velocity Toolbox <http://toolbox.velocitynet.com.au> enter your Username and Password.
2. You will then see a message towards the top of the page that you are currently being Shaped.
3. Click on the link and you will be given an option to select a Datablock.
4. Once a Datablock is purchased to is applied to your account immediately and the Shaping is removed within a few minutes.
